our little gibb boy is about as far as you can get from the dog of this time last week (listless, apathetic, blah). he greeted me this morning wiggling his whole little body, tail going double time, jumping up on me for morning kisses. then we had a quick-paced walk in the mist (p.s. it has been raining in memphis now for days and days and days….it’s getting old) followed by breakfast and some outside time before getting crated up for the day. he’s taking his meds like a champ, following us all around the house with a newly awakened curiosity, and – apparently – collecting my shoes. he doesn’t chew them, i’m not sure if he licks them, but he does gather them. he’s learned how to sit already, so it’s time to move on to another trick. he’s doing amazingly well, all in all, and we’re thrilled! to think, the vet intimated that it would likely be best for us to put him down – just goes to show what a whole lot of TLC and vitamins can do!
